ABOUT THE CONTROL CENTRE
The main objectives of the Control Centre are that it is responsible for the administration and management of the Data Centres operated by the Agency. It proactively monitors the ICT infrastructure across Government to maximise service availability. Furthermore the control centre provides first line support for the systems being monitored as well as providing a call centre service after office hours.
CONTROL CENTRE STATISTICS
- 24/7 monitoring and event management of government network and applications
- Over 400 Virtualised Servers and over 350 physical servers
- Responsible for the Backup process of all Government systems. There are currently over 3,000 backup tapes equivalent to 18 storeys if put one over the other.
