Dear User,
The Government of Malta email infrastructure is continually maintained to improve, both for functionality and also from a security perspective.
On the 21st January 2021, the enabling of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) on webmail (https://webmail.gov.mt/owa) shall take place. This mechanism is similar to the procedure where a user requires to authenticate to a mailbox using Outlook outside MAGNET including from mobile devices.
Users should login using their email address ([email protected]) instead of CORP\sample901, as otherwise the process would fail.
Unless already enrolled, the MFA enrolment process may be triggered at https://mfa.mita.gov.mt.
