Calculate Your Savings

Calculating your bill is very simple. First, choose the consumer scheme between Residential/Domestic or Non-Residential.

Residential/ Domestic: Enter the number of registered persons in your household (zero if Domestic). Choose the type of electricity supply you have, whether it is single or three phase. Next, input your electricity consumption – you can find these consumption units on your bill. Select the “From” date and the “To” date for the period you want to calculate your consumption. Follow similar steps for your water consumption. Calculate your bill based on the data you supplied. Your results will be shown, displaying how much you are saving.

Non-Residential: Choose the type of electricity supply you have, whether it is single or three phase. Next, input your electricity consumption – you can find these consumption units on your bill. Select the “From” date and the “To” date for the period you want to calculate your consumption. Follow similar steps for your water consumption. Calculate your bill based on the data you supplied. Cheaper Utility Bills

This Government promised that electricity and water tariffs would be reduced so that you and your family could enjoy a better life. The Government is fulfilling its electoral pledge. New electricity and water tariffs for families apply from 31st March 2014. Electricity tariffs are down by an average of 25% while water tariffs are cut by 5%. This is the first step towards cheaper electricity and water for all, with reductions to benefit businesses still to come. Q1 | What can I use the Mobile and Web-Based App for?

The App will indicate the savings expected as a result of the change in prices for both Water and Electricity consumption. This change affects Residential, Domestic and Non-Residential accounts. Your latest bill will indicate your consumer scheme (Page 1: top right hand corner, underneath the Service Address and/or Page 2: top row).

Q2 | I own/operate commercial premises. Can I use the App to calculate the savings on my Water and Electricity bill?

Yes.

Q3 | I have a photovoltaic system installed. Can I use the App to calculate my reduction?

No. The App cannot be used for calculating savings on accounts with photovoltaic installations.

Q4 | My bill has been issued for a consumption period which covers the date of the change: the first part when old tariffs were in force and the latter part when the new tariffs were introduced. Can I use the App to calculate my savings?

Yes.

Q5 | I have used the App to do my calculations. The results derived through the calculations using the App do not agree with the actual invoice. What should I do?

You should first confirm that the number of persons, billing dates and consumption are in agreement with the figures quoted on the invoice. This applies to both Electricity and Water. Make any corrections identified to the data input onto the App and recalculate. Failing this, and given that there have been no other changes made to your account that may have happened over the billing period considered, you may want to speak to one of our Customer Care Officials at ARMS by calling our free phone number 8007 2222.
