Accessibility Statement (EN Version)

The Government of Malta is committed to promote social inclusion and to continue to make the Web more accessible to users with disabilities.

Before this website was launched, it was assessed for compliance to the accessibility standards which are maintained by the Malta Information Technology Agency (MITA) in close collaboration with the Foundation for Information Technology Accessibility (FITA). These standards incorporate all Priority 1 checkpoints and thus conform to Level A of the W3C Non Government website link Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0. The guidelines explain how to make Web content accessible to people with disabilities.

Stqarrija ta’ Aċċessibilita` (MT Version)

Il-Gvern Malti huwa kommess jippromwovi l-inklużjoni soċjali u jkompli jżid l-aċċessibilta` għal Web għal persuni b’diżabilta`.

Qabel ma’ ġie mniedi dan is-sit, ġie vverifikat li hemm konformita` mal-livelli ta’ aċċessibilta` miżmuma mill-Malta Information Technology Agency (MITA) f’kollaborazzjoni mal-Foundation for Information Technology Accessibility (FITA). Dawn il-livelli jinkorporaw Priority 1 checkpoints u b’hekk jikkonformaw ma’ Livell A tal-Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 maħruġa minn W3C. Dawn il-guidelines jispjegaw kif tagħmel il-kontenut fuq il-Web aċċessibbli għal persuni b’diżabilta`.
