MITA supports the Government in improving its processes and in promoting ‘digital-by-default’ as part of the commitment to eradicate unnecessary bureaucracy. It helps the Government in deciding on the best use of technologies to increase efficiency and to help achieve excellence in delivering digital public services within government and to businesses and society at large.
It takes an active role in supporting its clients to adopt new technologies, bringing innovation and value creation in the digitalisation of public services and encouraging them to embrace emerging technologies such as blockchain, artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things.
