Government Computer Security Incident Response Team

The objectives of the Government Computer Security Incident Response Team within the Information Security & Governance Department are:

• To detect, prevent, protect and respond to potential cyberattacks towards the Maltese Government infrastructure to ensure the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of the Malta Public services;
• To enhance and develop the Government competence in Cyber security and contribute towards national cyber defence;
• To co-operate with national and international organisations for the detection, protection and prevention of cyber-crime acts on a national and international level.
