WoPHoP – (MITA Managed WordPress Shared Hosting Platform)
The MITA Managed WordPress-based Shared Hosting Platform (WoPHoP) is designed to host public-facing content management sites for the Public Service and Public Sector of the Government of Malta. These sites contain public data exclusively.
The fully managed hosting model adopted by MITA introduces the concept of Business as a Service (BaaS) in web hosting. Under this model, MITA, as the technology arm of the Maltese Government, concentrates on the technology layer by providing the necessary features and plugins for WordPress-based portals to be built and published.
