Keith Aquilina

As MITA CTO, Keith is responsible for technology strategy and direction, enterprise architecture and roadmaps. His role is to ensure the future technological capabilities of the agency whilst matching technology with the business needs which are in line with both agency and national IT strategies.

Throughout his career, he has led several high-impact technical projects of strategic importance for Government, including MITA’s hybrid cloud strategy and the modernization of government solutions into cloud-native architectures. He chairs the Technology Committee and serves as a technical expert on multiple EU Commission working groups and committees. His contributions in technology, IT infrastructure, interoperability, and governance have been instrumental in shaping policy and strategic direction at the European level.
