We are seeking to employ a Technical Services Officer to work in our Network Services Team
Our team is responsible for the continuous operation and service improvement of the Government’s network infrastructure components including:
- Data Centre network infrastructure projects and core network connectivity
- WAN connectivity across Government sites
- Wireless network connectivity across Government sites
- LAN Infrastructure Projects across Government sites
As a member of the Network Services Team, you will work with your colleagues and others across the agency to troubleshoot operational issues, reduce the recurrence of incidents, and increase the reliability and usability of our infrastructure services.
This is a very challenging role and provides candidates with the opportunity to participate in interesting and high-profile projects and services, acquiring diverse skills and further developing one’s career.
Eligible candidates will hold either of the following combinations of qualifications and/or experience, related to ICT.
Either:
- an ICT related diploma (MQF level 5); OR
- an ICT related diploma (MQF level 4) together with one-year experience in an ICT related area; OR
- two years’ experience in an ICT related area.
Fresh graduates may be offered an employment opportunity subject to the provision of final results.

National Cybersecurity Coordination Centre (NCC)

We are seeking to recruit an Executive within our National Cybersecurity Coordination Centre (NCC) team. This team is entrusted with building and maintaining the National Cybersecurity Community and to promote EU funding opportunities, whilst cascading funds to local parties. The NCC also has a strategic role at an EU level whereby apart from forming part of the Network of NCCs established within other Member States, it is also the sole contact point in Malta for the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre. At the basis of all this is the team’s mandate to incessantly deliver national cybersecurity awareness and education. An opportunity to join an energetic team of enthusiastic and passionate professionals who are building a legacy in the cybersecurity domain.
The successful candidate will be assisting in executing these various tasks of the NCC, working closely with peers in achieving mentioned objectives. This role provides an opportunity to work on national projects, in support of a comprehensive cybersecurity program.
The successful candidate, is expected to hold either of the following set of qualifications and/or experience in areas related to either Administration and/or Business and/or Management:
- A qualification at MQF level 5 or higher, in which case no previous experience is necessary; OR
- A qualification at MQF level 4 together with one year’s related working experience; OR
- Two years related experience.
