Notifications Platform

The Notifications Platform enables the Government to deliver SMS messages and emails. Through a web-based portal, public officials can send notifications, schedule them, manage recipient lists and generate reports. Users can also monitor consumption. This solution is also accessible via web APIs, which allows integration by third party services.

Both SMS messages and emails can be delivered either one at a time or in bulk. This can be done both through the portal or via API integration. Furthermore, the platform has been recently enhanced to support 2-way SMS communication, which will allow the Government of Malta to interact with the citizens and receive SMS replies.
